Job Summary

Curie is seeking to work with an entrepreneurial-minded full-stack Web/Flutter engineer, driven to learn the Web frameworks and gain exclusive experience in a Silicon Valley funded startup in beautiful Seattle, WA.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coding in Python & Dart
• Work with Product Managers and Designers for design and specification of our product
• Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to develop new features on our product
• Collaborate with ML and Data Engineers to develop and bring to production new features on out product
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend software for our product
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Manage own project requirements, deadlines and qualities
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to test and deliver the feature with high-quality and high-speed
  

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of Python or Dart experience
• Experience working on cloud infrastructures like GCP or AWS
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience using a ticket management system
• Experience designing, developing, and managing microservices
• Experience with a variety of DBs (SQL and NoSQL)
• Advanced experimentation/prototyping with Flutter and Dart (a shipped project is a plus) - including widget creation, data modeling, 3rd party library integration and troubleshooting native builds 
• Ability to translate designs, wireframes and written requirements into functional systems 
• Knowledge of git, build tooling and continuous integration systems 
  

Desired Experience

• Web Services & Hosting: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) & AWS
• MVVM architectures 
• Advanced debugging/testing/optimization 
• Integrations with 3rd party APIs and/or creation of APIs 
• Cloud-native development patterns (knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud and/or Azure platforms) 
• Firebase platform (especially Cloud Firestore) 
• Any additional software languages 
• Prior agency experience and appreciation of visual and product design a strong plus
