Air cargo today is an archaic, unsexy industry, with many freight forwarders still relying on manual ways of working. Paper orders, fax, email, and excel spreadsheets are still used to coordinate shipments today and we believe that air cargo is 30 years behind its time! At Teleport we are excited to transform the way air cargo is managed, sold and transported in Southeast Asia. Our ambition is to create a new logistics business model using the power of digitization and cutting-edge technology.

We are looking for quick-thinking, problem-solving Flutter Developer to build the next generation of products that facilitate the movement of goods. As a Developer you will be working on operator- and customer-facing products with a team of 3-4 people from diverse backgrounds. You can expect interactions with product managers, designers and business stakeholders on a daily basis. You will be based out of our office in RedQ and is expected to be performing this role on a full-time basis. The role will be projects-based and will be reporting to the Product Manager assigned to the project.

A DAY IN A LIFE 

As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Ask the right questions to help us get to simple, and elegant technology solutions, where possible
• Responsible for design, development, maintenance and enhancements of the in-house and customer base mobile
• applications
• Collaborate with product management to translate product requirements to system level architecture and high - level
• design that can be re-used across multiple applications and solutions
• Work closely with Team Leader, UX designers, vendors and development teams to drive the evolution and expansion
• of the mobile applications in terms of application design, coding, quality control for accommodating operation / end
• user requirement specification, performance, scalability and user experience
• Provide support to business users for using the systems, bug fixing, minor enhancements and fine tuning
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and with other teams
• Be a fast thinker - solving problems on the go
• Have high level of attention to detail

SKILLS 

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Minimum product dev experience of 2+ years in web/mobile startups with expertise in designing and implementing
• high performance web applications
• Familiarity with and excitement for Flutter
• Experience building for mobile platforms (Android/iOS)
• Experience authoring, testing, deploying, and managing high-scale production mobile apps

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in machine learning/Data science.
• Experience in Ecommerce or Logistic Industry

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Deep experience contributing to and managing high-scale production mobile apps for iOS and/or Android
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
