We are building a groundbreaking mobile platform that helps SME owners manage their operations and cash flows more efficiently and sustainably.

We are looking to expand our existing UK Team with a number of exceptional technologists and analysts, here in the Philippines.

If you are an experienced mobile developer, are fluent with Google’s latest brainchild, Flutter, and aching to stay at the forefront of mobile and cloud technologies, this opportunity might be for you!

Full-time (40 hours/week) applicants only! This is not suitable as a side gig. We will consider both permanent and contractor/freelancer options.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• participating in the overall design of the platform mobile front-end, using Flutter, Dart and Firebase/REST connectivity
• developing new UX elements, screens and components using Dart and Material Design
• occasionally integrating native platform functionalities (iOS and Android) into the cross-platform codebase
• sharing progress and issues on Agile/Scrum team dynamics
• liaising with management, client and beta users in the UK
• occasionally mentoring and advising junior team members

Must have

• Dart + Flutter + Material Design...the more the better!
• 2-4 years building apps with one or more of: Java, Kotlin, Objective C, or Swift
• Google Firebase (Firestore, Functions, Auth, etc.) and REST API
• Strong OO programming and design patterns
• Can translate prototype UX into functioning UI and API connectivity
• Agile/Scrum project management
• Git/GitLab workflow

Nice to have

• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Node.js
• SQL and no-SQL databases, relational and object modelling
• Security models and architectures
• Workflow- and rule-based API orchestration
• Software technologies for banking and financial services

Personal Attributes

• Strong logical approach and willingness to take the lead on solving complex problems
• Can do attitude, motivated, hungry to develop, technically savvy, focused on delivery
• A passion for coding and innovating
• Excellent spoken and written English, good communication and interpersonal skills
• An ability to work with little supervision and mentor others when required

Academics

• Minimum 3-year degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
