Mobile Application Developer

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. The developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. The role will require some flexibility in roles across architecture, development, and testing. The role will provide ample growth and full exposure to all aspects of the platform. Responsibilities

1.     Work in an agile team of software engineers, embedded engineers, data scientists, digital marketers and product owners.

2.     Assess and communicate how your work impacts business and other systems.

3.     Write and test clean, secure and scalable features and services.

4.     Solve non-trivial coding and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions.

Skills Required

1.      Experience in building scalable Android apps from scratch and building on top of existing codebases.

2.      Minimum of 2 year’s hands-on experience in building, testing and maintaining mobile apps in Android and/or iOS with significant real customer downloads

3.      Experience in developing hybrid apps using Flutter

4.      Good Knowledge of Java & Design Principles

5.      Good Knowledge of Google Maps and Play Services

6.      Familiarity with RESTful APIs

7.      Strong knowledge of UI design principles & patterns

8.      Expertise in performance & security issues- offline storage, threading, performance tuning

9.      Proficiency in the open-source mobile ecosystem and common libraries

10.  Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

11.  Understanding of programming fundamentals and their application to highly scalable web-based systems

12.  Familiarity with continuous integration

13.  Knowledge of Retrofit, Dagger & RxJava would be a plus
