Medically Home's Technology Team is responsible for creating and executing the roadmap for the company's core software product offering: the Cesia Enterprise Platform. As a key member of our technology team, you'll help define the architecture of our platform and oversee the development efforts of a full-stack software team. You’ll lead by example in a very gratifying quest to deliver world-class software that not only adheres to engineering best practices and software design principles, but also changes the face of a trillion-dollar healthcare industry.

Cesia’s goal is to enable acute care at home, at scale. A critical part of that product strategy is to provide clinical value through workflow, data and analytics, so you'll work closely with our clinical and product team leadership team to find opportunities to deliver high value, measurable clinical interventions that are enabled - uniquely - by our platform. Responsibilities

• Use cross platform technologies like Flutter to enable us to target multiple mobile devices and give us the most flexibility in supporting new medical device hardware. Flutter experience is not required, only a strong desire to learn and grow.


• Contribute to software development efforts for Medically Home’s multiple mobile apps, with a particular focus towards improving app architecture, robustness and reliability.


• Provide troubleshooting support for mobile applications when issues arise with devices deployed in the field

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the software industry, focused on multiple roles focused on building either native iOS or Android apps.


• Good knowledge of HTTP networking and API design, to ensure app reliability in the face of an evolving platform layer and potentially unreliable networks.


• Experience delivering continuously evolving mobile apps that enforce the elements of least surprise, backwards compatibility, and safe automatic recovery in the case of errors.


• Ability to participate in discussions about the pros and cons of different design patterns and architectural choices, with good exposure to both functional concepts and SOLID object-oriented concepts.


• Experience in Agile methodologies.


• A desire to learn and grow.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cross platform mobile development, particularly with Flutter/Dart.


• Experience integrating healthcare devices, particularly with Bluetooth low energy protocols.


• Experience with API design / definition tools, like GraphQL and OpenAPI.


• Background in healthcare related applications.


• Background in IoT and sensor data management
